Job Description:
As Sales/Design Engineer, the successful candidate in this position will be accountable for all technical sales support activities for technical product base and service solutions. This person will work very closely with the Sales/Account Executives to develop and present technical designs for presentation to prospective clients as well as existing client base. Also, the Sales /Design Engineer will assist in the resolution of technical issues that may arise during the sales and implementation cycle. This person must have the ability to help design and plan the integration of network, hardware and software upgrades and new installs.
Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Engineering/MIS/Computer Science/Telecom or equivalent work experience
Cisco Networking certification(s) " minimum CCNP
Experience with Microsoft Server environments
5 + years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Hosting/Network Support engineer (telecom, networking, ISP, hosting), or related technical infrastructure role.
Must have extensive experience in data gathering, needs assessment and solution design based on each customers particular requirements
Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Must have the ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong problem solving skills, with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
